MIKE OROPEZA

Michael “Mike” Oropeza is the founder and president of Royal Palm Construction Group. Mike entered the construction industry in 2002 as a carpenter. With a burning desire to understand and master the art of construction, Mike’s constant effort and dedication has earned him progressively higher positions within the construction industry culminating in him obtaining a state of Florida general contractor’s license and founding his own business in 2009. Mike’s initial experience started with years of multi-family, condominium and retail restoration and reconstruction on multiple projects located in Florida. These projects are where Mike gained the experience required to manage complex projects and the unique skill set required when working on multiple buildings, occupied units and multi-trade coordination. Through his career, Mike has worked on a multitude of commercial, residential and industrial projects. Highlights include Cape Canaveral Space Station, WAWA, Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront resort, Orlando International airport, Town and Country apartments, The Gallery on Mills, Daytona Beach Regency, Hyatt Grand Cypress as well as 12 major tropical storms/hurricanes. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife of 16 years and two children. He enjoys taking his family RVing across the US each summer to visit national parks and to show his kids the US. He also enjoys cooking, surfing and listening to music. 

 

JR RICHARD

JR Richard was born and raised in Orlando Florida. After graduating High School JR attended the University of Cincinnati majoring in Construction Management. Following graduation, JR went to work for the largest restoration and reconstruction company in the United States. After working at the company for 11 years as a Vice President of Construction JR joined the Royal Palm Construction team in 2016. Since then, JR has created relationships with distribution and vendors all over the United States. JR has worked on over $800 million dollars worth of restoration and reconstruction projects over the past 10 years with clients stemming throughout the S&P 500 as well as property management, REITs and condominiums throughout the Southeastern United States. With a solution and customer focused attitude JR finds the timely and effective remedy for all types of hurricane and natural disaster damage that affects commercial properties and owners.

 

CARLOS SIADA

Carlos is the son of one the largest commercial and residential developers in North America. Construction has been in Carlos’ family for over four generations and his intrigue and desire to find efficient and creative solutions is a direct testament to the decades of experience his family has in the industry. Carlos joined Royal Palm Construction in 2020 during Covid. Carlos has an MBA from the Wharton School of business with an emphasis in finance where he has now used his talents to help find cost-effective and creative financing solutions for clients across Florida and the Southeastern United States. Carlos is a father of two children and is married to his lovely wife Paula. In his limited free time, Carlos enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.
